Be The One: Build Great Futures by Investing in Maury County Youth
Your Boys & Girls Clubs of Maury County rely on a combination of grants, as well as corporate and private donations, to serve more than 600 kids annually. The nominal fees the Club charges – weekly and annual memberships, field trip fees, etc. – don’t touch the “real cost” of providing these critical services to our youth.
So each year, we reach out to the community to ask for support via the “Be The One” campaign. We do this because your gifts – no matter how large or small – change kids’ lives. Here are just a few of the things YOU helped the Club to accomplish recently:
- Through our Academic Success program, you mentored more than 500 kids last year and helped 96% of these students improve their grades.
- With your support, on Aug. 1 of this year your Club opened 12 new sites in partnership with Maury County Public Schools and is now serving over 600 kids county wide!
- You helped our Club win the 2016 Tennessee State Youth of the Year with member Brandon Levier. Brandon not only earned a scholarship to help with college costs, but his win made your Club the first in the state to receive this title two years in a row!
You are a vital member of our team. You may not be answering questions in homework help every day, but you make all of this possible. This is your Club too and we need your support now more than ever! Please donate today and be the one to make a difference in the lives of Maury County kids.
