Introducing our 2024 Youth of the Year!

Selected among 4 outstanding youth, Talajuwon Robinson of Giles County High School has been named Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee’s 2024 Youth of the Year. The Youth of the Year title is a prestigious honor bestowed upon an exemplary young person in recognition of leadership, service, academic excellence, and dedication to living a healthy lifestyle. The Youth of the Year program aims to honor high school members who participate in the competition on their path to great futures.

Your Gift Supports Our Kids’ Mental Health

Seven-year-old Addy has been attending the Club at Hampshire Unit School for over a year. This summer, she was enrolled at our Mt. Pleasant Elementary location. It was there that two Youth Development Professionals, Ms. Abby and Ms. Elise, noticed some concerning behaviors from Addy. Addy had begun distancing herself from her peers and was not participating in group activities. One day, they saw her tearing up while working on an art project. Elise and Abby pulled her aside and asked some questions to figure out what was going on.

Destry and her sister Charlotte are two of the sweetest kids you will ever meet. When you walk in the Club, Destry is one of the first kids who will come up with a smile and start talking to you. The two girls are being raised by their mom Jimmie – a single mother who, despite working hard as a restaurant manager, still makes being the best mom she can be her top priority. Their family has faced some tough challenges.

We currently have TWO openings for Site Coordinator Level 2s in Spring Hill, TN. The Site Coordinator is a year-round entry-level management position responsible for ensuring a safe facility where policies and procedures of the organization are being upheld. Daily tasks include planning, implementation, and evaluation of specific programs for youth between the ages of 5 and 18 at designated Club site.
