Pulaski Unit Director
Devon Yurko is the new Unit Director for Boys & Girls Club of Pulaski, which is reopening to Giles County youth under the leadership of Boys & Girls Clubs of Maury County. Devon is originally from Lemont, Illinois, a small suburb south of the city of Chicago. In 2010, he moved to Kalamazoo, MI to attend college. Devon graduated in 2015 from Western Michigan University with a Bachelors of the Arts in Political Science. He joined the team at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kalamazoo in February of 2012. Devon began as a Youth Development Professional working directly with the youth of the great city, and was able to secure a plethora of positions with the organization including Program Coordinator of the Proud 2 Be Me program, summer camp counselor, and Assistant Camp Director. He finalized his time there as the Unit Director of the Club’s flagship unit, Lake Street.
In November of 2017, Devon relocated to Columbia and secured a position with Boys & Girls Clubs of Maury County. He now serves as the Unit Director for the Pulaski site. Devon has a strong passion for youth development, and believes that he has found his true calling in life.
